Hamas coins 'Israel's' assassination of police chief 'cowardly' move
Hamas has issued a statement condemning "Israel's" assassination of martyr Fayeq Al-Mabhouh.
The Islamic Resistance movement, Hamas, has stressed the Israeli occupation's "cowardice" following their assassination of the Director of Central Police Operations, martyr Fayeq Al-Mabhouh, who had been devoted to maintaining security in Gaza.
Hamas emphasized that Al-Mabhouh also put effort into securing the arrival of relief aid to Gaza and the north, and affirmed that the assassination aimed at "preventing the safe delivery of aid to our people."
In a statement, Hamas further said, "This terroristic crime, that targeted local police forces that are protected by international humanitarian law, is more proof of the Nazi enemy's attempts at inciting chaos, hitting societal security in the Gaza Strip, and prolonging the state of starvation our people are suffering from, in compliance with the displacement and genocide plans it has plotted against us."
Hamas, however, affirmed that the Palestinian people and their security forces continue to strike the enemy's plots and prevent them from spreading chaos and disorganization in our resilient society.
Fighting till the last breath
The Islamic Jihad Resistance movement, on its part, revealed that Israeli occupation forces stormed the Al-Shifa Medical Complex where Al-Mabhouh was staying and assassinated him inside.
The movement held Washington and Western governments loyal to "Israel", as well as the silence of Arab regimes, that have both allowed the occupation to commit this genocide against Palestinians.
"Al-Mabhouh's assassination was a heinous crime, that is added to the Nazi, monstrous crime record the occupation is executing in its unconditional genocide against Palestinian people in Gaza."
Al Mayadeen's sources in Gaza reported that martyr Al-Mabhouh has taken over the management of Palestinian police operations in Gaza, and not the management of internal security operations, as the occupation claims, explaining that part of the martyr’s basic tasks was to secure aid shipments and that the goal of his assassination was to endanger aid and establishing the chaos the occupation seeks.
At the moment of his martyrdom, the sources stressed that Al-Mabhouh refused to surrender and clashed with enemy forces.
