Friends Reunion Special: David Schwimmer Reveals Filming Details
Fans of the sitcom Friends have been impatiently waiting for the reunion special, but the wait is over because David Schwimmer announced details concerning the filming date and more.
Repeated delays due to the Coronavirus pandemic have kept fans impatiently waiting for the promised Friends reuinion special that would get Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer together.
After the long wait, star David Schwimmer has revealed the show could be screened very soon, with filming possibly taking place next month, April.
The one-off Friends show was postponed due to the escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic that delayed the show from originally setting to air on the HBO Max streaming platform in the US in May 2020.
Friends originally aired for 10 seasons from 1994 through 2004 and starred Schwimmer, Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, LeBlanc and Perry.
Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay, previously shared details about the special and said the actors would not be in character.
She said, "It is not a reboot, it is not like a scripted thing, we are not portraying our characters."
Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green, said "It's going to be super,I choose to see it as the glass is half-full that it got postponed. Look, we're not going anywhere. You're never going to get rid of Friends, sorry. You're stuck with us for life, guys."
