Quds Day: The Unified Platform of the Axis of Resistance Delivers Message to World

On the occasion of Quds Day, which falls on the last Friday of the blessed month of Ramadan,the Unified Platform of the Axis of Resistance conveys a clear letter to the world, reiterating that it will not waver in its commitment to the Palestinian people.

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, on the occasion of Quds Day, an annual event held on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, said, "We meet again under the platform of resistance and resistance movements, to express our commitment and our faith in the Palestinian cause."

Sayyed Nasrallah called on everyone to be present and to appropriately express their sincere and faithful position, pointing out that "there are a group of factors that confirm the greatness of competency and mounting responsibilities on all of us, some of which are positive and some that are negative." 

He also pointed out that "the uprising broke out in Occupied Jerusalem during the past few weeks, and people in the West Bank interacted with it, the Gaza Strip and its military entry, albeit in a limited and thoughtful manner, to support Jerusalem in an attempt to create new equations, which is a very important development in our hands." 

Nasrallah considered that the recent events confirm the Palestinian people's adherence to their rights and dedication not to abandon each other, and this is crucial.

He said that the Trump era and Trump's pillars fell in the region and with it fell "the deal of the century", pointing out that among the factors that necessitate an increase in responsibility, is the stability of the axis of resistance and the process of overcoming the most dangerous phase that targeted its presence and entity in the region.

Also, he considered that the deep social, political, and moral crises within the Zionist entity are being revealed clearly and strongly, and many Zionist experts are expressing their concern for the survival of this entity in light of these deep crises.

Archbishop Atallah Hanna: "We defend Jerusalem."

On his part, Archbishop of Sebastia for the Greek Orthodox, Archbishop Atallah Hanna, said, "Everything in Jerusalem is targeted, with no exceptions, just as Islamic sanctities and endowments are being targeted, also are our endowments and our Christian sanctities."

Atallah Hanna asserted that "just as Muslims who go to the Al-Aqsa Mosque are attacked, Christians are also being attacked when they go to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and a similar event occurred recently when Christians celebrated the glorious Feast of the Resurrection."

Finally, he said, “We are not neutral with regard to the Palestinian issue, and with regard to Jerusalem in particular, we defend this cause, and we defend Jerusalem because when we defend this just cause and when we defend Jerusalem, we are defending our history, our faith, on behalf of our roots and the originality of our presence in this sacred part of the world."

He also pointed out that the Palestinian issue is an issue that unites us as children of the Palestinian people, Christians, and Muslims, and it is also the issue of all free people in our world, regardless of their religious, ethnic, or cultural backgrounds.

The bishop believed that every person with moral and humanitarian values ​​and principles should defend the Palestinian cause.

Sheikh Isa Ahmed Al Qassim: "Jerusalem is coming closer to liberation."

In the same context, Sheikh Isa Ahmed Al Qassim, Bahrain's leading cleric, believes that "Jerusalem is coming closer to liberation, purification and emancipation, for the Palestinian resistance factions alongside millions of nation’s youth put Jerusalem and Palestine first, before money, blood, and soul."

Al Qassim considered that “today is a day of bitter and fateful struggle, adding that “the Zionist expansionist greed has begun to verve with a mad impulse embraced and supported by normalization of ties between “Israel” and Arab countries which aim to establish a large official Zionist presence in the Gulf region".

He also pointed out that the people of Bahrain accept death for the sake of liberating Al-Aqsa, Jerusalem, and Palestine, the safety of the nation, its religion, and unity. They will not be relentless in the battle of jihad against the enemies of God and his Messenger (PBUH).

The top Bahraini cleric went on to say that a fierce battle must end the tyrannical aggression against sanctities, and every inch of our nation’s land. Al Qassim also stressed that the Bahraini people back the current uprising in Palestine and will back all the coming uprisings for the sake of the nation's sanctities and fate.

Khazali: “The axis of resistance achieves victory after victory."

Secretary-General of Asa'ib Ahl Al-Haq Movement Qais Khazali described the Zionist entity as "a cancerous gland through which they wanted to expand on our Arab land to falsify our Islamic history."

He added, "Despite all the attempts to empower this entity by the United States of America and those behind it, including states, lobbies, and covert and overt organizations, with absolute military support and open economic support, the axis of resistance achieves victory after victory, on all its fronts.

In another context, Khazali reiterated the stance of Iraqi factions which urge to boot US forces out of Iraq, especially after they explicitly declared that it was not their intention to withdraw their troops."

Ziyad al-Nakhalah: "Palestinians will defend their land with what they possess."

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziyad al-Nakhalah, said that the Zionist enemy who occupies Jerusalem and works day and night to strip the Palestinian people of their presence through the continuous demolitions is working to draw Judaic features of the holy Islamic city.

Al-Nakhala added that the Zionist entity brings those who sold themselves and their consciences from some Arab regimes to legitimize its existence through the processes of normalization that became a real threat to the Palestinian people and their presence in Jerusalem and their right to the land of Palestine.

In spite of all what the enemy does, he considered that the Palestinian people have been resisting for more than a century, and are proving day after day their ability to withstand. Al-Nakhala went on to say that the Palestinians also confirm day after day their steadfastness on their land and the evolution of their resistance, which keeps growing as a result of the sacrifices they have made.

Top Palestinian official concluded that the Palestinian people will remain on their land and will defend and protect it with everything they possess.

Al-Houthi: "Yemenis strive to liberate Palestine."

The leader of the "Ansar Allah" movement Mohammed Ali al-Houthi said that the Yemeni people "with their faith affiliation and their identity continue unswervingly in their adherence to support the Palestinian people. Yemenis strive to liberate Palestine and holy sites, foremost of which is Al-Aqsa Mosque."

Al-Houthi expressed his deep appreciation for the actions of the “Free Jerusalemites” in confronting the Zionist enemy and its aggressive practices on Al Aqsa Mosque.

On the normalization of relations with “Israel”, Al-Houthi clarified that “some regimes have been exposed with their act of betrayal to the just cause, hastening to show their loyalty to the Zionists under the title of normalization. These actions are a betrayal of Islam and Muslims."

Ahmad Sa'adat: "Quds Day means that occupied Jerusalem is for Arabs."

Meanwhile,  Prisoner Ahmad Sa'adat said in his message, which was delivered by his deputy Abu Ahmed Fouad, "I address you from behind the Zionist enemy's bars, and how I wished to be among you today on this glorious day, Quds Day."

Sa'adat added that in the occupation's prisons, we are looking forward "to the day we get to commemorate with you all Quds Day, in Tehran, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and firstly al-Quds."

He saw that Quds Day means that occupied Jerusalem is for Arabs and Palestinians and that it excellently is an international day that various peoples around the globe commemorate.

He continued, "We tell Iran and the Ummah that we, in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, will continue fighting until Palestine is liberated," stressing the need to ally with the axis of resistance and all the powers and peoples that oppose imperialism, the Zionist enemy, injustice, and oppression in the world.

Ismail Haniyeh: "Our people are achieving victories."

On his part, "Hamas" political bureau leader Ismail Haniyeh said on Quds Day that "in this stage that we are living with Al-Quds is in between two scenes: the scene of sufferance and the Zionist enemy's plans to Judaize, settle, excavate, demolish, and evict". Furthermore, the second scene is the scene of  proud Muslim Palestinian people stationed in occupied Jerusalem and the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque, defending the inheritance of prophethood in Palestine with their bare chests, will, and determination.

He added, "In this series of victories that our people are achieving in Damascus Gate, the Palestinian people in the West Bank, Gaza, 48', exile, and diaspora have risen. The peoples of the nation have moved following this confrontation and this inflamed arena at the doorstep of Damascus Gate and its yards and terraces," saying that this holy basin that the Zionists and settlers want to mess with.

Haniyeh said that this scene indicates that the Palestinian people cannot give up nor surrender in the battle of will and the battle of identity in defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque and occupied Jerusalem, adding, "I am confident and certain that the plans of the occupiers will not pass."

Ekrima Sabri: "We must remember Al Quds every day."

In the same context, Al-Aqsa Mosque speaker Ekrima Sabri said, "This international day is memorable. We must remind the world of this holy blessed city which millions, even billions yearn for."

Sabri directed a message to the world on Quds Day saying, "Set your compass towards it, do not get distracted, yes, dedicating a day does not mean forgetting it on all others, this day is to remember and focus. We must remember it every day, at all times, and it is targeted by the occupation because it is subject now and is still under the yoke of the occupation.

He indicated that Judaizing occupied Jerusalem continues because the Arab and Islamic world is preoccupied with it, adding that "the occupation is fighting us with a demographic war, targeting  Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, as well as the Al Bustan neighborhood and Batn Al Hawa neighborhoods in Silwan."

He stressed that "this city needs real support, not just slogans, support at the educational, health, and other levels, and then mobilizing the energies of all Arabs and Muslims as rulers and peoples for political activity and the diplomatic movement to end the "Israeli" occupation."

Sheikh Mahdi al-Sumaida'i: “Quds Day is a great day.”

The Grand Mufti of Iraq, Sheikh Mahdi al-Sumaida'i, said that Palestine is "an Islamic, humanitarian, ideological issue," adding that this land is "the land of jihad."

Al- Sumaida'i considered that Iraqis "are proud of the fact that throughout history, the Iraqis had a great role in liberating Jerusalem and in fully and specifically assisting the Jerusalemites and the Palestinians," stressing that Quds Day is a "great day."
