Dubai Museum Opens 'Holocaust Exhibition'
In the wake of the recent escalation between the occupation and the Palestinians, the UAE opens a holocaust exhibition in the Dubai Museum, naming it "The Crossroads of Civilizations Museum".
The Dubai museum opened the 'Holocaust exhibition', and the Crossroads of Civilizations Museum in the UAE "invited the Jewish community to the ceremony for what is described as the first permanent exhibition to commemorate the Holocaust in the Arabian Peninsula," according to i24 News.
"Israel's" ambassador in UAE Eitan Na'eh said, during his visit to the exhibition, that holding a Holocaust exhibition in the Arab world was "remarkable," adding, "Who would have dreamt 70 or 80 years ago that an Israeli ambassador and a German ambassador would sit here together, in an Arab country, visiting a Holocaust remembrance exhibition."
The Israeli ambassador warned of the anti-Jewish attacks that were recorded after the escalation between "Israel" and the Palestinian factions, saying, "After Gaza, where are we? We are at Kristallnacht moment."
"We see a new rise in the ugly face of anti-Semitism on the streets of Europe and elsewhere, and then we come here, to an Arab country, to a Holocaust exhibition," he added.
"We are all concerned about the rise of anti-Semitism in Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States," said the founder of the Crossroads of Civilizations Museum, Ahmed Obaid Al-Mansoori.
The founder of the museum added, "As a leading cultural institution in the United Arab Emirates, it is very important for us to focus on educating people about the tragedies of the Holocaust because education is the antidote to ignorance."
UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Abdullah bin Zayed said from Berlin that "the Holocaust will never happen again," after his first meeting with Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi at the Berlin summit.
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that bin Zayed said this in his speech, which he signed in the visitor book at the Berlin Holocaust Memorial
UAE and Bahrain signed a normalization agreement with "Israel" in Washington on September 15, 2020.
After that agreement, the UAE signed several economic and tourism agreements with the occupation.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE and the architect of the agreement with "Israel", Anwar Gargash, explained his government's position on the agreements and said that "the goal of the Abraham Accords is to provide a solid strategic infrastructure to advance peace with "Israel" and the region."
