Our reporter also echoed from security sources that a car bomb was set off near the house of the minister in Kabul, and gunmen attempted to break into the domicile.
Four gunmen broke into a house adjacent to that of the Defense Minister, attempting to break into the latter's house, and clashes are still ongoing between them and security forces.
The blast happened as the Taliban continue their attacks to control the country's three regional capitals.
