On Tuesday, Israeli media reported initial findings of a "military incident" near the port of Fujairah in the UAE.
Furthermore, the Israeli website "24" reported today that four vessels had reported losing control near the Emirati Fujairah Island in the Gulf of Oman.
According to MarineTraffic.com, the oil tanker "Golden Brilliant" and asphalt-carrying ship "Kamdhenu" notified via their automatic Identification System trackers that they were "not under command," which implies that the two vessels have lost power and can no longer navigate.
This incident comes after an Israeli oil tanker "Mercer Street" was targeted off the coasts of Oman, which led to the death of two nationals. In addition, the United States, United Kingdom, and "Israel" accused Iran of the attack.
Moreover, the White House stated yesterday that "US allies including the UK are being consulted, to respond to the targeting of the Mercer Street Tanker."
