hundreds of thousands of Palestinians perform Eid Al-Adha prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards, despite IOF's heavy deployment in occupied Al-Quds and the Mosque's surroundings.
Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians performed Eid Al-Adha prayer in various cities and regions in occupied Palestine, on Saturday morning.
In occupied Al-Quds, amid the 'takbir' calls that echoed across the Palestinian streets and alleys, thousands of worshipers who managed to reach the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque performed Eid Al-Adha prayer, despite the heavy deployment of Israeli occupation forces in the streets, especially in the Old City and at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to the Palestinian Wafa agency, around 150,000 pilgrims performed the holy Eid Al-Adha prayer this morning on the grounds of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The agency's correspondent said that at dawn, worshipers began to flock toward the Mosque from all over the city of Al-Quds, from the occupied lands, and the West Bank, chanting Eid "takbirs". They entered and exited in large groups to and from the mosque, through the gates of the Old City and its alleys, while some, who are forced to stay out of Al-Aqsa by Israeli occupation court orders, performed the Eid prayers in areas close to the Mosque.

It is worth noting that the occupation increases its harassment during festive seasons. Since the early morning hours, Israeli occupation police forces deployed in the vicinity of the Old City of occupied Al-Quds and its alleys, and stopped several young men at the gates of Al-Aqsa, checked their identities, and prevented some of them from entering.
On Friday evening, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man from Bab Al-Amoud area in occupied Al-Quds.
Local sources also said the occupation forces arrested the freed prisoner, Harun Al-Rasheed Abu Al-Haijaa, from the town of Al-Yamoun, west of Jenin, at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
