Al-Houthi: Providing Oil to Lebanon Is a Step Towards Breaking the Siege
After Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah announced the sailing of the first ship loaded with fuel from Iran to Lebanon, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, a member of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council, considers that providing oil derivatives will be a step towards lifting the siege on Lebanon.
Yesterday's statement by the secretary-general of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, announced the forthcoming of an oil tanker that has set sail from Iran to Lebanon - a powerful initiative to mitigate the oil crisis.
Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, Member of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council, said that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's statement deemed the initiative not a waste of sovereignty, but an extension and a defense of it.
Al-Houthi added that whoever says the opposite has an incorrect understanding of the situation because protecting Lebanon's interests is achieved by protecting its sovereignty.
He also considered that providing oil derivatives to Lebanon will be a step towards lifting another siege.

It is noteworthy that in a speech on the occasion of the tenth of Muharram, yesterday, Sayyed Nasrallah had announced that the first Iranian ship loaded with fuel was bound to set sail towards Lebanon in a few hours, warning against any attempts to intercept it.
He also described the US embassy in Lebanon as "an embassy of collusion against the Lebanese people."
