Damascus: Soldier killed, 11 wounded in explosion
A Syrian soldier was killed and 11 others were wounded after an explosive device was detonated inside a military bus in the Syrian capital.
Today, Tuesday, the Syrian Ministry of Defense reported the death of a soldier and the wounding of 11 others when an explosive device, planted by terrorists, was detonated in a military overnight bus near the customs roundabout in the city of Damascus.
A military source told the Syrian news agency SANA, "At about 7:25 am, on February 15, 2022, an explosive device planted in a military bus near the Customs roundabout went off, leading to the martyrdom of a soldier and wounding 11 others."
Last October, 14 victims were killed and several others were wounded, as a result of two explosive devices attached to a military overnight bus at the President Bridge in Damascus.
