The Ministry of Health in Gaza released on Saturday the latest toll of casualties in the besieged territory, stating that 95 Palestinians were martyred, while another 350 were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation's aggression in the last 24 hours.

This raises the total death toll to 36,379 martyrs and 82,407 wounded since the Israeli war on Gaza was launched on October 7, 2023.

The Israeli occupation committed a total of five massacres against Palestinian civilians on the 239th day of the war on Gaza.

The ministry explained that emergency workers and first responders are unable to reach countless martyrs as they are trapped under the rubble and as the Israeli occupation forces actively prevent first responders from going to certain areas.

'Israel' renews aggression on Friday

The Israeli occupation continues its campaign of systematic destruction against the Gaza Strip, ongoing for the 239th day, as relentless attacks have targeted residential homes and gatherings of displaced individuals, resulting in numerous massacres against the Palestinian people.

The IOF renewed their artillery bombardment on Friday night in the center and east of Rafah in the southern part of Gaza. The area Zor'ob, west of Rafah, was heavily shelled, as well.

Artillery strikes and bombardment from tanks also intensified in Tel Sultan, west of Rafah.

In central Gaza, Israeli drones conducted extensive low-altitude flights over all areas of the central province, opening fire on various locations. The drones flew densely over the al-Bureij and al-Nuseirat refugee camps, opening fire at the southern region of al-Zawaida.

The Israeli occupation forces also opened fire on al-Bureij and al-Maghazi camps, targeting agricultural land near the southern entrance of al-Bureij, close to makeshift shelters for displaced individuals.

The IOF went on to use what was likely white phosphorus for illumination in the northern part of the al-Nuseirat camp while simultaneously firing intensely at the area.

Throughout the night, central Gaza witnessed devastating Israeli assaults. Israeli warplanes targeted the Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City, while artillery strikes targeted the eastern part of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, also in the south of the city.

In the Netzarim corridor, intermittent gunfire was reported from Israeli military positions. Amidst the chaos, several casualties were reported at the Baptist Hospital after an Israeli strike hit a house near the Zaharna building in Gaza City.

The northern Gaza Strip was not spared as the IOF intensely shelled Beit Hanoun.

This continued aggression has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, leaving countless civilians in peril and overwhelming medical facilities with the influx of wounded and deceased.
