Gaza hospitals have received 98 martyrs and 385 wounded in 24 hours, Gaza's Health Ministry announced in its daily report on Wednesday, while Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that 83 people had been killed, including 61 in Gaza City, since dawn due to Israeli military operations in the enclave.

Several victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews have so far been unable to reach them, the Gaza Health Ministry noted.

In detail, Al Mayadeen's correspondent stated that ambulance and civil defense crews were unable to recover those killed and injured from beneath the rubble of four homes in the al-Shati' refugee camp, west of Gaza City, which came under Israeli attack.

'Israel' leaves no safe place for Gaza residents

Our correspondent additionally reported that 13 people were killed after Israeli forces targeted a family as they were fleeing to the south of the enclave near the al-Shifa medical complex in western Gaza City.

In another attack, two people were killed and eight others were wounded after a residential apartment was targeted near Al-Quds Hospital in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, according to our correspondent.

On the other hand, in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, five people were killed in an airstrike on a tent, as per our correspondent.

Furthermore, two people were killed and several others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike near al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City. Additional casualties were reported by Al Mayadeen's correspondent after Israeli warplanes targeted individuals in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of the city.

Our correspondent further reported that rescue teams recovered individuals killed and wounded after Israeli warplanes bombed a residential apartment in the Burj al-Zafer complex, located in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City.

As such, the overall death toll from Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, as of September 17, 2025, has risen to 65,062, in addition to 165,697 injuries, with 12,511 killed and 53,656 wounded since "Israel" reneged on the ceasefire agreement on March 18, 2025.

Starvation, aid massacres add to the death toll

When it comes to casualties from humanitarian aid massacres, the Gaza Health Ministry reported seven martyrs and 87 wounded in 24 hours, bringing the death toll from aid site attacks to 2,504, in addition to at least 18,831 injuries.

Moreover, four more people have died from famine and malnutrition, raising the total death toll to 432, including 146 children, according to the ministry, which noted that since the IPC's declaration of famine in Gaza, a total of 154 deaths have been recorded, including 31 children.

This comes as aid deliveries to the Strip remain far inadequate to address the needs of Gaza, with just 534 aid trucks out of 3,000 entering over the past five days, the Gaza Government Media Office reported in a statement.

The office said that the limited number of trucks that did make it through “were looted in the midst of deliberate chaos orchestrated by the Israeli occupation to manufacture famine and instability and undermine the resilience of the Palestinian people.”

According to the office, a total of 3,188 trucks have reached Gaza over the past 35 days, which represents less than 15% of the estimated 21,000 trucks required to meet basic humanitarian needs.
