Hezbollah air defense unit engages Israeli jets twice in less than 24h
Hezbollah announces the martyrdom of Resistance fighter Abdallah Mohammed Fakih while carrying out his resistance duty on the path to al-Quds.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah announced a series of operations on Thursday, targeting Israeli military sites and forces, in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza and their Resistance.
Operations included the launching of air defense missiles against Israeli fighter jets in southern Lebanon by the group's Air Defense unit, marking the second such operation in under 24 hours.
Hezbollah said that the targeting came in response to the Israeli violation of Lebanese airspace, confirming that Israeli jets scrambled away back to northern occupied Palestine.

At Thursday noon, Hezbollah announced "with utmost pride and honor" the martyrdom of one of its fighters, who ascended while carrying out his resistance duty on the path to al-Quds.
The martyr was identified as Abdallah Mohammed Fakih "Abes," born in 2000, in the town of Rab El Thalathine.

The Resistance also published scenes of an operation carried out last week, using a one-way drone to target an Israeli military anti-UAV system near the Lebanese borders.

Hezbollah's Thursday operations
At 12:30, Hezbollah announced targeting using artillery shells at the Hanita military site, achieving direct hits.
Shortly after, the Resistance said it conducted a strike in response to the Israeli attack on the southern village of Kafr Hamam, targeting a building used by Israeli occupation soldiers in the Menara settlement. The operation successfully hit the building with precision.
Separately, the Resistance announced that, in retaliation to the Israeli attacks on the town of Tayr Harfa, its fighters targeted buildings used by Israeli soldiers in the Shtula settlement, confirming direct hits.

Additionally, in response to an Israeli attempt to set the Rahib Forest on fire using a catapult, Hezbollah said it targeted the Israeli soldiers deployed in the Adaither Forest with rocket-propelled weapons, achieving accurate and direct hits.
The Islamic Resistance also revealed that it had carried out a qualitative operation.
Using a squadron of one-way drones, Hezbollah said it struck an Israeli artillery base belonging to Battalion 411 of the 288th Brigade in Neveh Ziv – a settlement that was recently included in Hezbollah's target bank.
The group confirmed that the drones accurately struck the positions and stationing points of officers and soldiers, resulting in casualties.
At 6:05 pm, Hezbollah said its fighters targeted deployment sites of Israeli occupation forces near the Baram forest area using rocket weaponry, and Ramtha military base in occupied Kfar Chouba Hills. Both operations hit their targets successfully, the Resistance added.
