IOF Carries Out Arrest Campaign in West Bank, Al-Quds
Israeli Occupation Forces arrest 3 young men from Beit Lahm; the Islamic Jihad movement calls on the Palestinian Authority to stop pursuing released prisoners and activists.
The Israeli occupation forces arrested three Palestinian youths from Bethlehem, al-Quds, and stormed the village of Ya'bad, south of Jenin.
Meanwhile, several dozen Palestinians were left wounded by rubber-coated steel pellets following confrontations with Israeli settlers south of Nablus.
The IOF also arrested Palestinian teen Muhammad Ali Al-Ghoul from Silwan.
The Israeli occupation authorities renewed the imposition of house arrest on the Governor of occupied al-Quds, Adnan Ghaith, for another 4 months.
A wave of arrests
Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces stormed the welcoming ceremony of released Palestinian prisoner Azmi Bani Odeh in Tammun, Tubas district, in the northern West Bank, "Shehab" news agency reported.
PA security forces have also raided the welcoming ceremony of released Palestinian prisoner Abdel Karim Abu Zar in Zawata, west of Nablus, on the pretext of not obtaining a license, according to Safa news agency.
In a similar context, the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine confirmed that PA security services kidnapped a group of liberated prisoners from the Islamic Jihad movement in Jenin," and noted that "the move is intended to serve the occupation."
A spokesperson for the Islamic Jihad Movement in the West Bank, Tariq Ezzedine, denounced what he described as a fierce campaign launched by PA security services that aims to pursue prominent resistance figures.
