The Israeli occupation launched 12 airstrikes on the outskirts of Hermel and Bekaa in eastern Lebanon, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Monday.
According to our correspondent, the airstrikes targeted the outskirts of Harbata and al-Laboua towns in the Hermel-Baalbak governorate, resulting in three injuries, including one in critical condition.
"Israel" continues to violate the November 2024 ceasefire agreement, an escalation that has now resulted in the deaths of 264 people and left more than 540 wounded.

On September 3, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of raids on areas in South Lebanon. The Lebanese Health Ministry announced that the attacks resulted in four martyrs and 17 injuries, including four children. This aggression brought the number of martyrs since the ceasefire in November to 264, with more than 540 wounded.
The series of airstrikes targeted the Zahrani coastal area in South Lebanon, with Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the area reporting that the strikes hit an industrial hangar used for repairing bulldozers on the Deir Taqla farm, located between the towns of Ansariyeh and Adloun.
As for the attacks on the peacekeeping forces, UNIFIL revealed that four grenades were dropped by Israeli drones on the morning of September 2, landing in close proximity to a group of peacekeepers who were working to clear roadblocks that were obstructing access to a UN position.
“This is one of the most serious attacks on UNIFIL personnel and assets since the cessation of hostilities agreement of last November,” the United Nations mission stated, underscoring the grave nature of such an attack that undermines the mission's ability to carry out its mandate.
