Iranian President Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran rejects any external interference in determining the future and destiny of its people, during discussions in Tehran on Saturday with visiting Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu.

Regarding the ongoing indirect Iran-US talks since April, Pezeshkian stated that while Washington seeks pretexts, Tehran has consistently demonstrated its nuclear program's peaceful nature through actions, proving that it does not pursue nuclear weapons or WMDs.

“While we are still ready for inspections, we won’t approve of any nations being deprived of knowledge and scientific technologies and achievements," the Iranian president said, emphasizing the UN's admission of the transparency of Tehran's nuclear program.

The president asserted that restricting countries from essential health, agricultural, and technological innovations amounts to denying basic human rights to heavenly endowments, which cannot be justified under any circumstances.

Iran, Kazakhstan vow bilateral cooperation

Pezeshkian extended his congratulations on the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha, expressing his hope that this holy celebration would serve as a meaningful opportunity to enhance bilateral relations between Iran and Kazakhstan and further deepen comprehensive cooperation in all fields between the two nations.

“Based on religious teachings, we consider Muslim nations as our brothers, and we are fully prepared to pave the suitable way for progress, prosperity, and sustainable development with all Islamic countries, including Kazakhstan aimed at developing cooperation, exchanging experiences, and utilizing common capacities," Pezeshkian stated, highlighting the fraternal connection between Iran and other Islamic countries.

Pezeshkian further highlighted the shared cultural, historical, and ideological ties between Iran and Kazakhstan, emphasizing Tehran's readiness to strengthen cooperation across all sectors while stressing that the future of bilateral relations hinges on mutual commitment to fostering regional and global peace, security, and prosperity through joint efforts.

On his part, the Kazakh foreign minister extended Eid al-Adha greetings to the Iranian government and people, while reaffirming Kazakhstan's strong commitment to enhancing ties with Iran.

The top Kazakh official acknowledged Iran's principled and rational stance on peaceful nuclear programs, recognizing the country's rich cultural and civilizational heritage while affirming Iran's legitimate right to utilize nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

“I am confident that Iranian government's efforts in the path of reforms in various fields will undoubtedly lead to the development, prosperity, and progress of the great Iranian nation,” Nurtleu emphasized.
