Israeli APCs burn as al-Qassam target occupation forces in Gaza

Al-Qassam Brigades announce a deadly ambush on three Israeli armored vehicles east of Khan Younis using explosive devices and guided missiles.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Saturday that its fighters carried out a complex ambush targeting three Israeli armored personnel carriers east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Brigades explained that its fighters detonated two armored vehicles using pre-planted explosive devices placed inside the command compartments. The explosions led to the complete destruction and incineration of both vehicles and their crews.
A third armored vehicle was later struck by a Yassin 105 shell in the area of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis.
Multiple Israeli media outlets reported that the number of killed occupation soldiers rose to three as a result of today's Khan Younis resistance operation.
The statement added that Al-Qassam fighters observed an Israeli military bulldozer burying the destroyed vehicles to extinguish the flames, while Israeli helicopters landed to evacuate the site.
Friday's operations
On Friday, al-Qassam announced that its fighters had bombarded an Israeli command and control post near the courthouse complex south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip using mortar shells.
In a separate operation, the Brigades reported targeting an Israeli Namer armored personnel carrier (APC) with a Yassin 105 rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) in the western al-Satar area, north of Khan Younis, near the intersection of Street 5. The group confirmed that an Israeli soldier was positioned atop the vehicle at the time of the strike.
Ealier, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, released footage showing the detonation of a minefield packed with high-explosive charges targeting Israeli military vehicles advancing east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
