Israeli media: Iran has developed its defense capabilities
Israeli media has reported that Israeli forces have presented several possible attack scenarios on Iran.
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz revealed on Wednesday that according to an assessment by Israeli security forces, "Iran has increased and improved its air defense array over the past years, making an air strike more complex. The Iranians have also managed to significantly increase their arsenal of long-range missiles, which can easily hit any point in Israel."
As a result, the Israeli military has signed multiple contracts totaling billions of shekels in the last year to extend and enhance "Israel's" air security, including an allocated additional $2.9 billion of funding.
The Israeli occupation presented various plausible scenarios for attacking targets in Iran but stressed that determining the effect of such attacks or assessing how it would influence Tehran's nuclear program would be difficult.
The Israeli paper reported that the Israeli occupation confirmed its readiness to carry out an attack on Iran as soon as the government approves.
Israeli security officials doubtful of attacking Iran
It is noteworthy, however, that in a New York Times article, Iran and "Israel" pundits Ronen Bergman and Patrick Kingsley discussed the prospects of the Israeli occupation launching an attack on Iran.
Military officials and experts have said that "Israel" does not possess the ability to pull off such an assault against Iran's nuclear program; not anytime soon. In fact, such an attack would take at least two years to prepare for, if its goal was to cause significant damage to Iran's nuclear program.
A smaller, more limited strike that would cause some damage to the program may happen sooner. But the resources to damage dozens of nuclear sites, as threatened by the Israelis, is not possible at the moment, as its resources are not available, they concluded.
