Amid a series of Israeli military raids across the West Bank, Palestinian fighters detonated an explosive device targeting Israeli forces in Nablus. The overnight and early morning incursions, which stretched from Jenin to Ramallah, were met with protests and armed confrontations, leading to multiple detentions.
During an Israeli military incursion into the eastern part of Nablus, Palestinian fighters detonated a roadside explosive device as Israeli armored vehicles passed by.
The explosion occurred during a widespread detention campaign launched by Israeli forces across multiple areas of the West Bank in the early hours of Friday. According to local sources, at least 11 Palestinians were detained during raids on the city of Qalqilya, the town of Azzun, and the 'Askar refugee camp in Nablus.
Confrontations also broke out between Palestinians and Israeli settlers as the latter attempted to storm the Khirbet Samra area in the Northern Jordan Valley.
In the Jenin governorate, Israeli forces raided the towns of 'Arraba, southwest of Jenin, and Muthallun, to the south, where troops stormed a wedding hall and searched several homes.
Israeli occupation forces were also deployed among olive groves.
Further south, Israeli forces invaded the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, where they smashed a vehicle and detained a Palestinian youth from the nearby village of Abu Qash.
Confrontations also erupted during an Israeli military incursion into the city of al-Bireh, where Israeli soldiers opened fire, shooting live ammunition at young Palestinian protesters.
Israeli settlers escalate attacks on Palestinians with impunity
On the morning of November 11, settlers carried out an arson attack on the Hajjeh Hamideh Mosque in Deir Istiya, located between Kifl Haris and Salfit. Settlers poured flammable liquid into the mosque’s entrance, ignited the blaze, and defaced its walls with racist slogans. Local residents rushed to contain the fire, while Palestinian authorities and resistance factions condemned the assault.
On November 10, in the northern West Bank governorate of Tubas, dozens of masked settlers set fire to four trucks belonging to the al‑Juneidi dairy company, torched agricultural land and Bedouin tents, and pelted stones at local Palestinians. The attacks coincided with raids by the Israeli occupation forces in the same region, further intensifying tensions.
On November 9, settlers assaulted several Palestinian vehicles near Areeha by hurling stones. A Palestinian woman was injured, and in a separate but related incident, a young man from the Bedouin community of Arab al‑Rashaida suffered from a skull fracture after being attacked by settlers.
Throughout October 2025, settler violence in the occupied West Bank surged dramatically. According to UN figures, at least 264 attacks were recorded that month alone, the highest monthly total since records began in 2006. The assaults included vandalism, physical violence, and large-scale destruction of olive groves during harvest season.
