Kataib Hezbollah: Those who offend religious authority offend the people
Iraq's Kataib Hezbollah argues that offenses cannot be addressed by a mere apology, but rather by correcting the ideological structure of the offenders.
The Iraqi Kataib Hezbollah asserted that "the religious authority in Najaf is the shield that defends the people from the evil and wicked," asserting that "anyone who offends the religious authority offends the population and the nation as a whole."
The offenses against the religious authorities are not to be addressed by a mere apology, but rather by correcting the ideological structure of the offenders, the party said in a statement. It continued to say that political mismanagement and its reflection on the largest bloc in the parliament should be rectified.
Kataib Hezbollah stressed that nothing will protect them [the offenders] from the people's outrage, adding that those who are silent in the wake of oppression bestowed upon the people of this nation don't have the right to assume responsibilities.
These words come after a statement made by Hazem Al-Araji of the Sadrist movement led by Muqtada Al-Sadr. The video shows a number of people standing behind Al-Araji, as he says that the political and religious decision-making is limited to Najaf, and in Najaf, there is the village Al-Hanana, which is the center of decision and execution.
However, according to Al-Araji, Al-Sadr did not accept such rhetoric and ordered him to apologize.
As for the Turkish attacks, Kataib Hezbollah demanded to stop disregarding the lives of the youth, and that the people that managed to shatter the hegemony of the fiercest power are capable of defeating and humiliating the perpetrators.
A few days ago, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that Turkish warplanes had hit Kurdish militant targets in Iraq and northern Syria.
On its part, the Security Media Cell condemned the Turkish drones' violation of Iraqi airspace in northern Iraq, specifically in Sinjar and Makhmour.
