Medvedev: No Point in Negotiations with Ukraine now
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev considers that "the United States does not need Ukraine and uses it as an arena to confront Russia."
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev considered that "negotiations with Ukraine are useless at present, due to the constantly fluctuating positions of Kyiv."
Medvedev confirmed that Ukraine is governed by weak people who are only after making a profit, and nobody in Kyiv is ready to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the country, stressing that the United States does not need Ukraine and only uses it as an arena to confront Russia.
Reports say that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced his willingness to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin face to face.
"I reiterate my readiness to meet with Putin at any time, and I believe that this would be the right step because the meeting (face to face) can be substantive," Zelensky said.
Putin did not deny the possibility of holding a meeting with Zelensky, but he does not see a reason for it.
