The leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, announced Monday that the military operations against Israeli-linked vessels would be renewed if humanitarian aid does not reach Gaza within a four-day deadline he set last week.

"We stand by our deadline for the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip, and our armed forces are ready to execute operations," al-Houthi proclaimed in a speech.

Al-Houthi stressed that many Arab and Islamic nations do not give their attention to this matter properly, highlighting the responsibility of the Arab and Islamic governments.

According to the leader, military measures will begin "from the moment the specified period ends," stressing that the Yemeni Armed Forces were ready to do so.

Days ago, al-Houthi accused the Israeli occupation of delaying its commitments under the Gaza ceasefire agreement, particularly concerning humanitarian provisions. He stated that while Hamas had fully honored its obligations, the occupation had failed to uphold its side of the deal.

"The humanitarian aspect of the agreement includes clear obligations with guarantees from mediators, yet Israel is trying to evade them," he said.

Takfiris committing genocide against peaceful Syrians: Al-Houthi

The leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, condemned on Sunday the massacres committed by "Takfiri groups" in Syria, calling on all parties to denounce these crimes.

In a speech addressing developments in Syria, Sayyed al-Houthi stated that those who militarily, politically, and financially support Takfiri groups share responsibility for their crimes.

He highlighted how these groups not only commit their atrocities but also document and boast about them on social media, further displaying their criminal nature.

The Yemeni leader further asserted that "Takfiri groups in Syria are committing acts of genocide against hundreds of unarmed, peaceful Syrian civilians," adding that these groups are serving the interests of "Israel" and the United States by tearing apart Syria’s social fabric.

Sayyed al-Houthi explained that the goal of both the Americans and Israelis "is to present themselves as protectors and saviors of the Syrian people."

He pointed out that "Israel has declared its protection of the Druze in Sweida, and because of this, Takfiri groups do not dare to harm them but instead show them respect."

"The Takfiri groups are in agreement with the Druze in Sweida because Israel has announced its protection of them" and has threatened retaliation if they are harmed, according to the Yemeni leader.

Furthermore, the Ansar Allah leader explained that the US "presents itself as the protector of the Kurds in their areas, arming and recruiting them," while "other Syrians see themselves as targets since they are neither under American protection, like the Kurds, nor under Israeli protection, like the Druze."

Sayyed al-Houthi's remarks came as more than 1,000 people were killed in Syria's coastal cities, including at least 745 civilians from the minority Alawite community, in recent days following clashes between the country's security forces and their allied groups and militants reportedly affiliated with the regime of ousted President Bashar al-Assad.

The Alawites are a religious minority to which the toppled al-Assad happens to belong.

The Islamist group Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), which led the offensive that toppled al-Assad in December, has vowed to protect Syria's religious and ethnic minorities.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which relies on a network of sources in Syria, has reported multiple massacres in recent days, with women and children among the killed.

"The vast majority of the victims were summarily executed by elements affiliated to the ministry of defence and the interior," the monitor pointed out on Friday.
