Israeli occupation forces intensified their attacks on Gaza City on Monday, destroying residential buildings and targeting neighborhoods with artillery and airstrikes.

According to local reports, fighter jets struck a residential building adjacent to the already-destroyed al-Israa Tower on al-Wehda Street, while heavy artillery fire hit the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in the city’s northwest. Occupation forces also detonated a booby-trapped robot to demolish homes in the same area. Additional air raids were reported in northern Gaza City.

Palestinian platforms reported casualties, including martyrs and wounded, after Israeli drones opened fire near Kissufim, east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

Netanyahu tells Palestinians to 'leave now'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directly addressed Palestinians in Gaza City, urging them to “leave now” as occupation forces prepare for what he described as a large-scale ground “maneuver.”

“I say to the residents of Gaza, I take this opportunity and listen to me carefully: you have been warned — leave now!” he declared, boasting that the Israeli military had already destroyed 50 towers in two days, which he said was only the beginning of a broader assault.

The Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas denounced Netanyahu’s remarks as “a public exercise of the crime of forced displacement,” underscoring the escalating scale of the aggression.

Meanwhile, Israeli Channel 12 reported that the military is considering redeploying some forces from Gaza to the occupied West Bank, amid growing fears of increased operations there.

Ongoing operations

This comes as the Palestinian Resistance continues to confront Israeli forces' incursion into Gaza, in a bid to occupy Gaza City.

According to the group's statement, which detailed an operation that took place near Salah al-Din Mosque and al-Zaytoun Clinic, fighters confirmed the strike, which was carried out on August 31, only after returning from the frontlines.

The al-Qassam further recalled that on August 30, its fighters, using a Yassin-105 shell and a Shawaz explosive device on Street 8 southwest of al-Zaytoun, struck a Merkava tank and a D9 military bulldozer.

Al-Qassam has also expanded coordination with the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Together, they have conducted joint attacks on Israeli command posts in Khan Younis, Rafah, and Gaza City, using mortars, anti-tank missiles, and improvised explosive devices.

Israeli military sources have acknowledged the growing effectiveness of Palestinian Resistance tactics, noting that Hamas fighters have become "more organized in combat" and increasingly bold in confronting occupation forces.
