Smotrich's senior advisor injured in Hezbollah confrontations
Two Israeli soldiers from Unit 504 and a third from the 8207 Battalion were also seriously wounded in battles in South Lebanon.
The senior advisor to Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich was injured during battles at the border with Lebanon, the Israeli Channel 12 reported on Wednesday.
The Israeli occupation military also confirmed that two soldiers from Unit 504 and a third from the 8207 Battalion were seriously wounded in battles in southern Lebanon.
Israeli media further reported the crash of an Israeli helicopter in the Syrian town of Beit Jinn, near Mount Hermon on the border with Lebanon.
Additionally, the media mentioned Tuesday that two soldiers from Unit 504 were injured in border confrontations. The Ziv Medical Center in occupied Safad confirmed it had treated 18 Israeli soldiers injured in the fighting.
The Israeli occupation military confirmed Tuesday that a total of 48 soldiers were wounded, with 30 of those injuries occurring at the northern border with Lebanon and 18 in the Gaza Strip.
This comes as Hezbollah's fighters continue to inflict heavy casualties on Israeli troops attempting to infiltrate Lebanese towns from occupied Palestinian territories since "Israel" announced a ground incursion over a week ago.
On Tuesday, the Islamic Resistance's Operations Room indicated in a statement that the Israeli occupation military has so far failed to penetrate Lebanese towns and is suffering major losses, with more than 35 soldiers killed and 200 wounded from the Israeli forces' elite units.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression across Lebanon, launching airstrikes on civilian infrastructure in southern Lebanese towns, Beirut's Southern Suburb, and the Bekaa region.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the number of people killed in Israeli aggression has risen beyond 2,000, with over 10,000 injured.
