The Israeli occupation military confirmed Tuesday that a total of 48 soldiers were wounded, with 30 of those injuries occurring at the northern border with Lebanon and 18 in the Gaza Strip.

This comes as Hezbollah's fighters continue to inflict heavy casualties on Israeli troops attempting to infiltrate Lebanese towns from occupied Palestinian territories since "Israel" announced a ground incursion over a week ago.

On Tuesday, the Islamic Resistance's Operations Room indicated in a statement that the Israeli occupation military has so far failed to penetrate Lebanese towns and is suffering major losses, with more than 35 soldiers killed and 200 wounded from the Israeli forces' elite units.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression across Lebanon, launching airstrikes on civilian infrastructure in southern Lebanese towns, Beirut's Southern Suburb, and the Bekaa region.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the number of people killed in Israeli aggression has risen beyond 2,000, with over 10,000 injured.
