The US turns "Israel" down
Israeli newspaper Yedioth Aronoth reveals that the US has rejected "Israel's" request to expedite the delivery of refueling jets.
The US President Joe Biden's administration rejected an Israeli request to deliver two Boeing KC-46 refueling jets that "would allow dozens of Israeli bombers to remain airborne for up to 12 hours," reported Yedioth Ahronoth.
Originally, "Israel" has decided to purchase four refueling jets from the US two years ago in preparation for military attacks, but the deal was not completed due to political unrest inside the Israeli occupation's government. The jets are to be delivered in four years.
The Boeing KC-46 refueling jets, airborne for up to 12 hours at a range of over 11,000 kilometers, "are critical to any operation against Iran – which is more than 1,000 kilometers (621 miles) away from Israel's borders," the Israeli newspaper pointed out.
However, Israeli sources mentioned that "Israel" is hopeful the US would fasten the delivery of the jets.
Israeli occupation's Security Minister Benny Gantz confirmed Friday that he told US officials he met in Washington this week that he had instructed the IOF "to prepare a strike against Iran," Israeli media reported.
According to an Israeli security official, Gantz informed US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken about the timeline of the attack.
This comes at a time when US and Israeli officials have revealed rising tensions between US President Joe Biden's administration and the Israeli occupation government over several issues, one of which is the Iranian nuclear activity.
