Fans of the Argentine Club Atletico All Boys held pro-Palestine protests before a match against their rivals, Atlanta, a club often linked to the Israeli occupation, waving Palestinian flags while individuals dressed in hazmat suits carried a coffin draped with the Israeli flag.

Near the Malvinas Argentinas stadium, some scattered flyers bore messages such as "Free Palestine" and "Israel and Atlanta are the same ****," prompting Argentina's Minister of National Security, Patricia Bullrich, to warn that if the Buenos Aires municipal government fails to act by Monday, she will intervene.

Atlanta is often linked to the Israeli occupation due to ties with the local Jewish community. While the club is not directly affiliated with "Israel", it engaged in cultural and sporting exchanges with Israeli teams and institutes.

Celtic fans protest 'Israel' at UEFA game

Many football clubs around the world have taken pro-Palestine stances, but perhaps none are as outspoken as Celtic FC.

Celtic supporters displayed a large banner reading "Show 'Israel' the red card" during a February 13 match against Bayern Munich, urging the removal of what they referred to as the "occupation entity" from international sports bodies.

Similarly, Osasuna fans unveiled a banner on February 16 stating “Show ‘Israel’ the red card” during their match, echoing the protest by Celtic supporters, with both groups demanding FIFA and UEFA suspend "Israel" over its military actions in Gaza.

The banner featured the word "Israel" in quotation marks, with the text designed to resemble dripping blood.

According to reports from Kan public broadcaster, Celtic supporters distributed leaflets calling for "Israel" to be excluded from international sporting competitions.

Celtic FC's Green Brigade, known for its strong support of the Palestinian cause, has consistently expressed solidarity through banners, chants, and protests at matches.

During their September 2024 UEFA Champions League match against SK Slovan Bratislava in Scotland, Celtic FC fans delivered a powerful message of solidarity with Palestine, chanting from the stands, "They can oppress you, they can imprison you, but they will never break your spirit."

One of the most notable instances took place in 2016 when the Green Brigade waved Palestinian flags during a UEFA Champions League qualifier against Israeli side Hapoel Be'er Sheva, leading UEFA to fine Celtic for violating rules against political displays in matches.
