Corbyn outlines vision for Your Party: 'Democratic, member-led socialist party'

Speaking at the inaugural Your Party conference, Your Party co-founder and former UK Labour Party leader, Jeremy Corbyn, said the party has already reached 50,000 members and must now formalize itself as a fully democratic, member-led political force. Corbyn called for elected party leadership, an executive by early February, and a members’ oversight committee to guide nationwide organizing, rejecting the "top-down" model he associated with the Labour Party. He outlined the party’s platform as socialist, rooted in social justice, wealth redistribution, and international solidarity, opposing capitalism, inequality, and war.
