Israeli Media: After the Attack from Al-Tanf, there could be Exceptional Measures
Israeli media responded to yesterday's Israeli attack on Syrian territory from Al-Tanf and said that if the attack reports are true, there could be talks for exceptional measures.
The Israeli Yediot Aharonot newspaper wrote that the official Syrian news agency reported yesterday there is talk of an attack by the Israeli army, which launched missiles from the Al-Tanf area on the borders of Iraq, Syria, and Jordan.
The site saw that "if the reports are correct that the recent attacks were carried out from the Al-Tanf area - there would be talks of exceptional matters - because in this case, the planes possibly had to pass over Jordan."
"The attacks attributed to Israel in Syria are being carried out from Lebanon, which previously protested the matter before the UN Security Council," according to the Israeli website.
The Israeli statement came hours after Syrian military sites in the eastern countryside of Homs were subjected to an Israeli missile attack on Wednesday, coming from the American-occupied Al-Tanf area, which resulted in the death of a Syrian army soldier and wounded 3.
On the other hand, the Operations Room of Syria's allies announced today, Thursday, that it decided to harshly respond to the aggression against Palmyra, explaining that the Israeli aerial attack targeted service centers and a gathering of young people.
