Fewer know it launched invasions, commando raids, and assassinations across Angola, Mozambique, Botswana, Lesotho, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. Over 1.5 million people died in conflicts it fueled across southern Africa. This video traces how a regime that seemed powerful was always fragile, as systems that depend entirely on violence, at home and abroad, eventually collapse under their own weight.
