  • Data on the Spread of COVID-19 in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea that Surprises the World
On January 22, 2020, the DPRK suspended the entry of tourists and subsequently closed its borders and suspended international routes and passenger transportation

The data on the spread of COVID-19 released by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea makes many people immerse in surprise and deep thought.

According to a report from the DPRK’s Central News Agency on the 19th, from the end of April to May 18 at 18:00, there were 1,978,230 people with fever across the country, of which 1238,000 were completely cured, and 74,160 are currently receiving treatment. A total of 63 people have died so far.

These figures reveal at least three good news.

First, the speed at which it heals completely is amazing and the rate of healing is very high.

According to the report of the DPRK’s Central News Agency on the 13th, fever of unknown causes has been spreading explosively throughout the country since the end of April.

When looking at the number announced by the DPRK in relation to the cure, it was said that 1,238,000 people had already been cured, which is more than 60% of the total number of infected people. This speed of recovery is very surprising.

Second, the mortality rate is practically very low.

About 2 million people have been infected so far in the DPRK, and the death toll is 63, which is almost 1 in 30,000.

This is really surprising and fortunate news.

Third, these numbers do not include asymptomatic patients.

What should be emphasized is that when initially announced in the DPRK, it was expressed that a kind of fever of unknown cause was “explodingly rampant throughout the country”. Some doctors are saying this is a huge step forward.

If the DPRK reveals the COVID-19 treatment plan, some basic points can be mentioned as follows.

1.  Fever usually lasts 3 days.

2.  Patients can be treated at home.

3.  Take good care of your health, get plenty of rest, and function with salt water.

4.   The treatment plan mentioned five types of drugs, which can be divided into onset and convalescent stages.

1)  Antiviral drugs can be used.

2)   Antipyretic; Paracetamol was recommended and the usage instructions were also provided. 500mg three times a day

3)   Analgesic; Librofen and Voltarine (Paracetamol also has an analgesic effect, but it is medically recommended not to use Librofen and Paracetamol together)

4)    Antibiotics; It mentioned that patients should use it after testing for side effects under the guidance of a doctor.

As can be seen from the treatment:

1.  The DPRK knows well that the disease process and period of onset are short.

2.    Can be treated at home, and patients are encouraged to treat themselves at home. About the antipyretic and analgesic, the amount and method of use were directly informed.

3.   In the DPRK, fever is not called COVID-19, and pneumonia is not mentioned at all.

This is a kind of huge advance.

In the DPRK reports, the term “fever” means entering statistics when only fever symptoms are present. If so, is there no asymptomatic infections in the DPRK, and if asymptomatic infections are counted, the death rate will not be lower?

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the DPRK was the country with the strictest quarantine control.

On January 22, 2020, the DPRK suspended the entry of tourists and subsequently closed its borders and suspended international routes and passenger transportation. After January 2020, the number of people entering the country was

quarantined for 30 days, and imported goods were quarantined for 10 days as well as quarantined.

As is known, the DPRK did not participate in the Tokyo Olympics and Winter Olympics.

Previously, people had said that the DPRK was the most successful country in quarantine.

Some people say that the DPRK is strong, while other people say that the DPRK is ahead of the world with just one step. An overview of the DPRK's “fever” in any expression provides us with another perspective.

Finally, as can be seen from reports related to the spread of the disease in the DPRK, these “excellent” digital materials in it were achieved without vaccination.

According to the statistical data of the COVAX being implemented by the World Health Organization, no vaccine has been supplied to the DPRK until now, and there is no vaccine that has already been shipped or is waiting for shipment. In other words, all quantities are denominators.

Whether or not the DPRK people were vaccinated or not is also a matter of interest to the world. If you don't get the vaccine, it cannot be said that it will necessarily lead to a high mortality rate. Rather, the current mortality rate in the DPRK is admirably low. If you can do this without getting the vaccine, it's really amazing.

Let's all keep watching the DPRK, this is a window worthy of our observation and becomes a new mirror in the global pandemic situation.

What does the present situation in Ukraine show?

NATO, which specified Russia as the "greatest and direct threat" and China as a "systematic challenge" in its new "strategic concept" last year, is now openly stretching its long arm to South Korea and Japan. Its aim is quite clear.

Is the trip of the secretary general of NATO aimed to instigate the creation of the Asian version of NATO?
