As many centuries ago, Lebanon is again becoming the center of important events of historical significance.

The territory of modern South Lebanon played a colossal role in the history of the Middle East and the entire Mediterranean region. On these lands is located the city of Tyre, associated with maritime trade from the times of ancient Phoenicia and the conquests of Alexander the Great. In southern Lebanon there is the famous Litani River, which in ancient times divided the borders of two great Hellenistic states - the Ptolemaic Empire and the Seleucid Empire. Over many centuries, hundreds of battles took place on these lands. But the most significant of events are happening there and now.

Every day, Hezbollah fighters carry out successful operations against the Zionist occupation forces. These operations are a response to the barbaric Israeli attacks on civilian infrastructure in Gaza. Hezbollah is waging a sacred struggle against the Israeli occupiers, and this struggle has a double meaning: It is both in support for Palestine and in defense of Lebanese sovereignty from Zionist aggression.

Hezbollah missiles hit barracks, command posts, and other military installations of the Zionist regime. Even the Israeli media admit that the much-advertised Iron Dome cannot do anything with anti-tank guided missiles flying from Lebanon, which are capable of hitting any border Zionist military facility.

Against this background, the Israeli regime continues to threaten to invade the south of Lebanon. This is not the first time that such statements have been made, and they are further evidence of the aggressive intentions of the Zionist leadership. However, one thing is clear: Any ground attack launched by Israeli occupation forces on Lebanese territory will ultimately be a disaster for "Tel Aviv".

The Hezbollah movement has serious military potential and experience, and enjoys the sincere support of the Lebanese people. But there is another important factor that I want to analyze in this article: The ideological factor.

In the West, the crisis of ideology began not in the 21st century, but much earlier. For many years, the United States and the European Union have been promoting the ideas of “Western democracy,” which in reality is only a disguised dictatorship of large transnational corporations. This is a kind of political mimicry: the manipulation of the electorate using terms that are deliberately misleading, achieved, for example, with the help of arguments about “civil liberties”, “fair elections”, etc. In reality, elections in America have de facto turned into a political circus, which is also proven by scandals with fraud in 2020. “Western democracy” turned out to be a myth, but a bloodthirsty myth. As you know, it was under the auspices of the imaginary “defense of democracy” that the United States repeatedly launched attacks on sovereign countries.

At the same time, America cannot even formulate clear explanations of what kind of “democratic freedoms” it supposedly protects. The result is a kind of ideological simulacrum - both for the internal electorate and for the external, international audience. A simulacrum that no one believes in anymore.

The resources of the so-called “Western democracy” have been exhausted. Euro-Atlantic liberal ideologemes turned out to be unviable against the background of the emergence of processes indicating the birth of a multipolar world. These ideologies led Western Europe to sad consequences: The economic crisis and decline in industrial production in a number of countries (for example, Germany), the loss of their own sovereignty and transformation into American satellites, the growth of internal political contradictions, the emergence of incompetent politicians in power, the loss of national traditions against the backdrop of aggressive the advent of globalism.

And for the United States itself, Euro-Atlantic liberalism became the cause and catalyst of decline. The ideology with which Washington tried to substantiate its claims to global domination and the position of “world gendarme” led to an internal political crisis in the United States. The American population, as polls show, is split along party lines - on the one hand there are supporters of the Republican Party, on the other hand - supporters of the Democratic Party. At the same time, mutual disputes and confrontations between them are growing, which demonstrates the lack of unity within American society. The financial and political elite of the United States suppresses dissent in the country and promotes the globalist agenda. This only says one thing: American “democracy” with all its “rights and freedoms” has been transformed into a banal dictatorship, covered only by pretentious political demagoguery.

The same can be said about “Israel”. Zionism was a misanthropic ideology and remains so. However, large-scale contradictions between various Zionist parties and major protests against Netanyahu showed that the ideological crisis of the West also affected “Israel”, demonstrating to the whole world its real internal weakness.

Against the background of this crisis, it is no secret to anyone that Euro-Atlantic liberal globalism and Zionism are equally evil, bloodthirsty ideologies. A kind of twins born of darkness. But if there are forces of darkness, then there must also be forces of light. And they really do exist.

Hezbollah is an organization that has been fighting bravely for decades against these forces of darkness - the Zionist and American aggressors, and an important factor in its strength is ideology. This is a willingness to defend the freedom and sovereignty of one’s Fatherland, sincere religious Faith, and loyalty to the principles of military duty. In 2006, Hezbollah defended Lebanon from Israeli aggression, defeating the Zionists and forcing them to retreat. In 2023, Hezbollah supported the Palestinian Resistance on the battlefield. From year to year, the movement demonstrates its consistency and strong adherence to principles, its readiness to courageously fight against the Israeli occupiers.

As many centuries ago, Lebanon is again becoming the center of important events of historical significance. Hezbollah is a true patriotic movement that is at the forefront of a righteous, holy struggle, and millions of people around the world wish Hezbollah fighters success in battle.
