Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro posed an objective, critical question to all Christians of the world, himself being a Christian who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ, saying, “How would we [Christians] feel if someone in any country in the world burned a copy of the Bible? How would we feel then as Christians?”

With this question, Maduro is trying to provoke the European Christian realm’s innate human feeling as he followed with great anger the burning of copies of the Quran in Sweden and Denmark under the protection of the state police, experiencing firsthand the extent of resentment and humiliation felt by the Muslim peoples across the world.

The Muslim peoples’ resentment, which Maduro touched on objectively, stems neither from the crime of arson and police protection per se nor from the fact that the European public opinion hid behind the lie of freedom of expression… their resentment is based on the eerie silence of the European leaders. Maduro considered it a deliberate act of turning a blind eye, which actually amounts to encouraging the instigation of hate crimes against Muslim peoples.

Maduro's absolute denunciation of these racist crimes against Islam and Muslims had already prompted Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, a few days ago, while commemorating Ashura, to encourage and mobilize the Muslim youths in Europe to take the initiative in confronting this desecration, behind which parties linked to the Israeli Mossad stand amid the silence and impotence of concerned governments.

It goes without saying that such an act would infuriate Sayyed Nasrallah, as it had done with all the Islamic scholars from Al-Azhar to Najaf, Qom, and Kairouan, but the anger that gripped Maduro, and before him Russian President Vladimir Putin, who held a copy of the Quran into his arms in Dagestan, reflected an outstanding approach of nipping sedition in the bud.

Putin announced early on that any offense to the Quran in Russia is punishable by law, contrary to the status quo in the West, indicating the civilizational difference between the West, which is rife with racism and clash of civilizations, and the East, which is advancing in line with the values of human justice.

Maduro established a link between solidarity with Palestine and its ordeals in the face of brutality and slaughter, on the one hand, and this recurrent crime against the Holy Book of Muslims, as if he aimed at drawing the attention of viewers to Sayyed Nasrallah’s clear statement that whoever burns copies of the Quran in the heart of Europe is the same person who slaughters Palestinians in Jenin, Al-Quds, and Gaza. It is but one story with one narration, especially since the intel attained afterward proved that the criminal responsible for the desecration is in fact a collaborator with "Israel".

Ramadan in Yemen: Humanitarian initiatives to support poor people in Sanaa

The Quran, whose start was linked to its end through Surah Al-Isra, in which Allah almighty blessed the land of Palestine and its vicinity and made it the epicenter of the fight between Israeli insolence and the strong-willed servants of God, is the main target of those that God almighty described as follows: "You will surely find the most bitter towards the believers to be the Jews and polytheists and the most gracious to be those who call themselves Christian. That is because there are priests and monks among them and because they are not arrogant."

The Israelis seeking to target the Quran at the heart of Christian Europe through an Iraqi person is a malignant Israeli attempt to strike all the existing contradictions, while no one but the Israelis remains to reap the fruit of these contradictions in an old-new behavior that has been evident to most parties involved in conflicts around the world. The new development today, however, is that parties aware of these practices stand against this Israeli malice, understanding its tricks and goals, including leaders from the Christian world, spearheaded by the leader of Venezuela, Maduro, who swim against the stream of the same West that succumbs to Israeli malice.

The ploy of the Swedish approval of burning a copy of the Torah came to expose the truth of Western Israeli targeting of the Quran after someone declared their intention to burn the Torah and soon thereafter was swiftly swept under the rug after Israeli President Herzog's heart trembled upon hearing of such bids. These trembles sent shockwaves through domestic and foreign parties that sought to prohibit such incident from taking place, which never was the case when it came to the repeated violations of the Quran.

Hate crimes against Muslims are manifesting in their new version. Maduro shed light on them to expose, with his genuine innate sensibility, all Western delusions, most notably the lie of freedom of expression, which Putin previously confronted when criticizing France's claims to protect freedom of expression in the context of insulting Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him), especially since Western secular liberal freedom of expression becomes rigid at the slightest mention of Israeli racism and its religious and political aspects. Western courts, laws, and constitutions bare their fangs against any minimal intellectual effort against the historical and contemporary Jewish falsehood.

This outspoken Venezuelan solidarity with the Quran establishes a model of human coexistence between differing opinions, presenting a true vision of freedom of expression. It calls on humanity with the words: "Cooperate with one another in goodness and righteousness and do not cooperate in sin and transgression. And be mindful of Allah. Surely Allah is severe in punishment."

This humanitarian cooperation, which the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, recognized in the Quran, is a rare moment of awakening for global conscience, as he said he saw a contemporary manifestation of what the Quran mentioned in Surah Al-Tawbah: "And if anyone from the polytheists asks for your protection [O Prophet], grant it to them so they may hear the Word of Allah, then escort them to a place of safety, for they are a people who have no knowledge." This protection should be ensured for believers and non-believers alike, as mentioned in the Quran. This is a remarkable expression of the principle of refugee protection that came centuries before the 1951 Refugee Convention.

These remarkable principles in the Quran, observed by Christians like Maduro, Putin, and Guterres, might be what challenges Western racism and the Israeli and American security institutions behind it. They attempt to undermine the Quran and its representation of human values and legislative principles that expose Talmudic fallacies and Western deceptions, which are now falling before the global significance of the Quran, which came down by revelation, through a scientific and resilient methodology that fits the contemporary transformations and challenges.
