The advantage of this period of time is that it is a revealing time, and the term “constructive ambiguity” which you are using and which is in reality a “destructive ambiguity” can no longer deceive or convince anyone.

  • The integrity of language and people

Whoever reads the speech of the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, before the American "Israel" Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in Washington last Monday cannot but wonder: Does Mr. Blinken realize the extent of the insult he is committing against the dignity of language, the dignity of people, and the dignity of human rights that are recognized and revered by humanity except by Blinken and his audience? Does he realize that when you read the text of the speech he delivered with pure linguistic scrutiny, you will find it impossible to reach any useful meaning of any message or goal behind words and sentences that negate and contradict each other?! For the benefit of the reader, I shall give some examples hereunder:

Blinken emphasized Washington's continued commitment to the security of "Israel" and the "two-state solution", without matching his commitment to the security of "Israel" with a similar commitment to the security of the Palestinians. There is no doubt that when you make a  commitment to the security of a party that is armed with all kinds of weapons, including weapons of mass destruction, at the expense of the life, security, rights, and future of a defenseless nation that has been deprived of the right of self-determination and all other human rights, definitely this will not lead to the “two-state solution”, which has become a verbal phrase, completely separate from the course of reality and from the possibility of happening as long as the occupying forces commit daily killings, expulsion and extermination of Palestinians with all criminal means available to prevent them from achieving their dream of establishing their state on their own land.

Blinken also noted that the disruption of the status quo at the holy sites and the continued home demolitions and expulsion of families who have lived in those homes for generations will cause harm to the prospects of any "two-state solution" and will undermine the dignity that all human beings are entitled to. After this diagnosis, which practically means that the Zionist entity is carrying out the most horrible acts to prevent the Palestinians from continuing to live in peace on their land, violating their security, rights, and lives, and canceling all factors that must be built upon in achieving the "two-state solution", what is the position of the United States on all this? And what shall it do?

Shall the US stay as a false witness far behind the oceans, concluding all these veiled references of the settlement criminal perpetrations against a defenseless people by saying, “The United States has a real interest related to its national security in advancing the paths of normalization to help Israel integrate into the region?”

We say in the colloquial language, “A madman speaks and a sane person understands.” This means that when a madman speaks, the sane person must interpret what was said in order to make sense of it. There is no doubt that Mr. Blinken is sane and knows very well what he is saying, but I tell him that his words do not mean anything to any analyst looking for a factual meaning and a conclusion reached from his narrative.

If the United States recognizes that settlements are an obstacle to the "two-state solution", then why doesn’t it work to stop it? And if the US is aware that the demolition of homes harms the political solution and the dignity of the people who have lived there for generations, then why doesn’t it dare to take a clear and frank stand and demand the cessation of everything that would hinder solutions and violate human dignity, as well as humanitarian and international laws? And if it realizes the consequences of all this, how does it aspire to achieve its national security by pushing for normalization and trying to integrate the Zionist entity into the region without addressing any of the crimes and violations committed by this entity against the Arab people in Palestine, the occupied Syrian Golan and southern Lebanon?

Blinken visited Riyadh, where, in addition to the Saudi Crown Prince, he met with Gulf ministers to reassure them collectively that his country is on their side and that “the United States is in this region to say that we are still deeply engaged in a partnership with all of you."

But, Mr. Blinken, don't you say in America that "actions speak louder than words?!" So, what is the value of your words if they completely contradict your actions and attitudes? Or are you betting on using this misleading language until the usurping occupation forces are able to bring about demographic and practical changes that guarantee the security of the entity and the US at the expense of the Arabs in Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon and threaten the Gulf countries whose wealth you intend to on loot? If these are your hidden ambitions; then here you have realistic lessons about what is happening in Palestine, the Golan Heights, and southern Lebanon about the prospects of the future that you are planning for your country and your allies at the expense of the Arabs' existence and their security.

After seventy years of violating the rights of the Palestinians, forcibly expelling them, destroying their homes, and killing their children, the Palestinian cities and villages rise up in the face of the occupation, and the children of martyrs swear that they will continue the path of their ancestors until liberation.

The Lebanese shepherd, Ismail Nasser, who guards not only the sheep but also the soil of the virtuous land, stands in the face of an Israeli bulldozer and confronts it with his body. The Lebanese army and people in the south stationed themselves in Ffar Chouba to protect their land and rights. I tell you that your articles and newspapers are confused about explaining the motivation and determination of the people of Palestine without paying any attention to the bulldozers, planes, and aggressive weapons of the brutal occupation. And if the Egyptian soldier defended his dignity and the sanctity of his land after decades of normalization agreements with Egypt, and you admitted after every incident that the normalization agreement with Egypt and the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians are merely an illusion, why do you seek to produce more illusions by advancing paths of normalization which you fully know that they will not lead to acceptance of this Zionist entity in our region, or our land and the land of our ancestors? You must be sure that our Arab people will never accept a Zionist entity that occupied their land and perpetrated ugly crimes against them and brought nothing to the region but wars, death, and destruction.

If you were betting on time, according to the claims of settlers and occupiers, then let me remind you that the French settlement lasted one hundred and thirty years on the proud land of Algeria, and after generations and generations, the blessed Algerian revolution was launched, and Algeria was liberated from French colonialism.

A review of history reveals that achieving the security of one party at the expense of another party will not survive and that your commitment to the security of "Israel" lacks a necessary and realistic complement capable of changing the erroneous equation that you adopted a long time ago; this complement is your commitment to the security of "Israel", the security of the Palestinians, and the security of the Arabs in the region. Only then, Mr. Blinken, you can speak seriously and meaningfully about American National Security.

The advantage of this period of time is that it is a revealing time, and the term “constructive ambiguity” which you are using and which is in reality a “destructive ambiguity” can no longer deceive or convince anyone. Everyone now seeks clarity, dignity, and rights, and if you insist on rejecting these principles, be sure that other forces are ready to embrace them, believe in them, and make every possible effort to implement them on the ground.
