What Media Should You Read??
Sooner rather than later, people will discover that there is no need to read such media whose only concern is to cover up the truth rather than to convey it.
When I read the article published in the Jerusalem Post about the assassination of the renowned Arab journalist, Shireen Abu Akleh, I decided to analyze the terminology and concepts promoted in this article as an example of maliciously misleading news and analysis combined. Such articles are not written to inform but to misinform and, in this case, to cover the most horrendous, blatant crime against an indigenous Arab journalist whose voice carried the honest and true message of the Palestinian people to the world.
The article claims innocence, but it is such a false innocence; they want to appear as if they are pursuing truth by supporting the American ambassador's call for a thorough investigation. But The problem, as they claim, is that "some are wildly casting blame on Israel before an investigation has even begun" and that “the Palestinians are not willing to cooperate with Israel in a joint investigation." The answer to both misleading statements is that the victim was killed by an Israeli sniper, and witnesses on the ground saw that she was wearing the press vest and the helmet, which the entire world saw. Despite all that, the sniper hit her in the neck, and still, it has not been considered that "Israel" planned and carried out a terrorist act against an innocent journalist, hence no one should allow the killer to be part of the investigation, according to the newspaper.
Even after Shireen died, the Israelis were still targeting her, and one of her colleagues shouted: she is dead already, dead, stop it! The Israeli message was loud and clear: whoever wants to convey the truth of the occupation will face the destiny of Shireen Abu Akleh. This is neither a claim nor an accusation, but a solid fact of what has happened in front of many people and was broadcast on cameras all over the world. There is no need to investigate a crime that took place in front of so many people and was recorded live on camera. This is not the first time where "Israel" deliberately targets journalists or active Palestinians whose voices about what is truly going on in occupied Palestine began to be heard. The way the Israelis treated Shireen's coffin the next day and their attempts to strip her coffin of the Palestinian flag and to prevent people from accompanying her funeral speaks volumes about their definite intention to get rid of her as a symbol and an icon of Palestinian fighters against the horrors of Israeli occupation.
No one has the time or patience to even listen to Israeli lies, which were changed so many times in an effort to cover up a planned and designed crime to silence one of the most prominent Palestinian voices against the Israeli occupation. What Israeli officials tried to claim shows their search for any narrative that may make sense, according to them, but all their attempts were doomed to failure because they are trying to cover the sun with a finger.
The conclusion of the article culminates the abuse of a horrendous crime in the ugliest and most stupid way. It goes as follows, "Abu Akleh's death is terrible. But it is sadly being cynically used to blame "Israel", something that will incite others to carry out even more terror attacks against the Jewish state." Oh, my dear, don’t you see that the world has changed and that the majority of people today know for certain that "Israel" is the source of terror attacks against the Palestinians, the Syrians, and the Lebanese, and that "Israel" is the last occupation on the face of the earth whose record of crimes against the Palestinians is well documented and established.
I wonder for how long will you be able to write such trash, and for how long you will find readers who will even care to read what you write? The entire people in the southern part of the hemisphere know by now that there is no free press in the West and no true concern for human rights and that racism and discrimination are rife against non-westerners and that the West has a long history of condoning Israeli crimes against Arabs. Shireen Abu Akleh is not the first victim of Israeli crimes, but Israeli arrogance led them to perpetrate such a crime in front of TV cameras and that is why there is no doubt that an Israeli sniper killed her in a preplanned terrorist attack. Sooner rather than later, people will discover that there is no need to read such media whose only concern is to cover up the truth rather than to convey it.
