Israeli Channel 12, citing Tel-Hai Academic College, concluded from the findings that Israeli settlers in northern occupied Palestine remain distrustful of the Israeli military's security assurances, with few returning to their homes. Many settlers expressed deep concerns about the future, frustration over "unfulfilled promises, and are waiting for tangible actions on the ground." The report also highlighted economic struggles, noting that non-evacuated settlers from the North report worse conditions than those displaced. Meanwhile, the Israeli Ministry of Settlement has allocated 111 million shekels (around $31 million) for initial infrastructure rehabilitation and public facilities in 41 northern settlements in preparation for the settlers' return.
