A new study published in The Lancet revealed a significant decline in life expectancy in Gaza, which plummeted by nearly 35 years between October 2023 and September 2024. The research, which assessed data from the Gaza Health Ministry, found that male life expectancy fell from 73.6 to 35.6 years, while female life expectancy dropped from 77.5 to 47.5 years.
