The 15th edition of the Iran International Documentary Film Festival, known as Cinema Vérité, is scheduled to launch in the upcoming weeks.
Iran’s major international festival for documentary films will take place from December 9 to December 16.
The event’s organizers reported that around 2,611 short, mid-length, and feature films compete in the festival's national competition section so far.
The festival's audition board will watch the films that have been submitted.
On his account, Iranian documentarist Mohsen Eslamzadeh has described the Cinema Vérité festival as a platform for the country’s documentary film industry.
"The festival is the right place where the culture and art people, documentarians, and filmmakers gather," he added.
