Elton John Tops UK Singles Chart for First Time in 16 years
Famous singer Sir Elton John tops the UK singles chart for the first time in 16 years after his collaboration with Dua Lipa.
For the first time in 16 years, famous singer Sir Elton John has topped the UK singles chart.
John's collaboration with Dua Lipa crowned him the first artist to be on the top 10 single list in six different decades.
This came after John and Lipa's track "Cold Heart (Pnau Remix)" topped first on the list on Friday.
The 74-year-old singer's last number one hit on the singles chart was in 2005 when he appeared on US rapper 2Pac's posthumous single, "Ghetto Gospel."
His first number one was in 1976 after a collaboration with female singer Kiki Dee in a track called "Don't Go Breaking My Heart."
