France Receives Nine Picasso Artworks
Picasso's daughter donates nine of her father's artworks to France. They are expected to enter the national collections at the Picasso Museum in 2022.
French Culture Minister, Roselyne Bachelot, announced in a press conference yesterday, Monday, that her country has received nine Picasso artworks that will enter the national collections at the Picasso Museum in 2022. The artworks were donated by Picasso's daughter, Maya.
The nine artworks include six paintings, two sculptures and a sketchbook, all belonging to the famous painter.
Only one artwork, "The child with a lollipop sitting under a chair," was presented to the press yesterday at the Picasso Museum in Paris.

It is noteworthy to mention that all the artworks will be presented to the public starting from April 2022.
The overall value of the donated artworks was not revealed due to tax secrecy.
