The spokesperson for the al-Qassam Brigades stated on Monday that in two separate incidents, two fighters assigned to guard Israeli captives opened fire at the captives, resulting in the death of one male captive and the serious injury of two female captives.

In a post on his Telegram channel on the 311th day of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, he stated that efforts are underway to save the lives of the injured captives.

Abu Ubeida held the Israeli government "fully responsible for the massacres [in Gaza] and any resulting reactions that may impact the lives of the Zionist prisoners."

Finally, the spokesperson said that a committee has been formed to investigate the details of the incidents, and the findings will be announced later.

Many captives have been killed in Gaza in the past ten months due to the relentless Israeli bombardment.

The most recent known incident was in Nuseirat when Israeli occupation forces massacred over 270 Palestinians during an operation to "retrieve" captives. Israelis claimed that they managed to recover the bodies of four captives. However, al-Qassam revealed later that, due to the heavy bombing during the "operation", Israeli forces killed three captives.

"Israel" committed a horrendous massacre during the early hours of Saturday at al-Tabieen school in Gaza City, killing over 100 Palestinians and wounding dozens of others.

The Government Media Office in Gaza held both "Israel" and the US administration responsible, pointing out that the Israeli occupation army launched a direct attack on the school, where many displaced individuals who had sought refuge were performing morning prayers.
