Yemen's weekly rallies continue, reassert retaliation is inevitable
Yemen's million-man marches continue to express unwavering support for Palestine and condemn the Israeli occupation's violations of the al-Aqsa Mosque.
Large rallies took place Friday in several districts in the provinces across Yemen, as part of the ongoing popular support for the Palestinian people and their Resistance since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip in October.
A statement issued by the million-man marches reaffirmed Yemen's long-standing stance in support of the resilient brave Palestinian people and Resistance in the face of the "Zionist killing machine," congratulating the al-Qassam Brigades for bombarding "occupied Yafa with two rockets, following more than 10 months of Zionist aggression."
The statement condemned the Israeli occupation's escalation as its settlers violate the al-Aqsa Mosque, considering the desecration of this Islamic symbol a "test of the sentiments of all Muslims."
In that regard, the statement also underscored that Yemen denounced the "feeble positions and weak statements that neither uphold justice nor deter falsehood and fail to protect sanctities."
Addressing the world, the statement noted that the people of Yemen, with great concern and sorrow, following months of genocide and violations against the al-Aqsa Mosque, ask: "Are you still alive? Why do you not act?"
"We declare that we will not falter, slacken, or remain silent; we will not abandon Palestine, the battlefields, or cease our strikes," the statement underscored, reaffirming once again that "the response is coming."
In conclusion, the statement addressed Yemeni issues and congratulated the Yemeni people for the formation of the new Government under the slogan of "Reform and Reconstruction," considering it the "first step toward radical change" and reasserting that the Yemeni people are in "full support and absolute endorsement of all steps and measures taken by the leadership" down that path.
Yemen will stand by Lebanon in the face of Israeli threats: Al-Mashat
As part of Yemen's support for the nations of the region, the president of Yemen's Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mahdi al-Mashat, congratulated Lebanon on the anniversary of the 2006 war victory against "Israel", stating that "the historic victory achieved by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon in 2006 will continue to serve as a beacon for all liberation movements."
In a statement on Wednesday, al-Mashat emphasized that the Israeli regime, "still haunted by the bitterness of defeat, is currently constrained by the balance of power and its inability to expand the scope of the war," adding that "the enemy is aware that the Islamic Resistance today is stronger than it was in the past."
The Yemeni top official also praised "the heroic actions and immense sacrifices of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon [Hezbollah] and all the forces supporting Gaza," affirming Yemen's solidarity with Lebanon in facing the Israeli threat.
