Hezbollah: We pledge to remain in position of honor, dignity, and righteousness, to defend our land, our people, and the aspirations of future generations.
Hezbollah: We highly value patience of our steadfast and proud people, who endure oppression and aggression alongside us in the hope of preserving national sovereignty and dignity.
Hezbollah: From this perspective, we address current developments, reaffirming to all that this is the time to unify efforts to halt the Zionist violations, aggression, and escalation against our country
Hezbollah: Legitimate defense does not fall under framework of “decisions of war or peace”; rather, it is exercise of our right to resist an enemy that imposes war upon our land, refuses to cease its assaults, seeking to subdue our state.
Hezbollah: As a founding component of Lebanon, the nation we are committed to as a final homeland for all its children, we reaffirm our legitimate right to resist occupation and aggression.
Hezbollah: Negotiations [with "Israel"] carry no national interest and pose existential risks to Lebanon’s sovereignty and entity.
Hezbollah: Lebanon must not, under any circumstances, yield to aggressive blackmail or be lured into political negotiations with the Zionist enemy.

The organizing committee of the tenth Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest has opened entries for its 2024 edition. The contest is named after Andrei Stenin, a photojournalist at Rossiya Segodnya who died in the summer of 2014 near Donetsk while on assignment.

"We are very pleased to launch the 10th-anniversary competition, a tribute to our colleague and war correspondent Andrei Stenin. Over 10 years, it has become a truly multinational platform for young and talented photographers who are not afraid to take risks, look for new angles, and express their opinions in a bright and unbiased manner," Oksana Oleinik, the contest’s curator, said.

Traditionally, the annual photo contest kicks off on Andrei Stenin's birthday, December 22.

The organizer chose to name the competition after the Russian photojournalist Andrei Stenin, in honor of his memory, having worked in red zones in the Arab World, such as Egypt, Syria, Libya, and Gaza, and was martyred in August 2014 while covering the war in Ukraine, after winning the "Silver Camera" award in 2010 and 2013.

Professional photographers aged 18-33 can submit their work through stenincontest.ru (https://stenincontest.ru) in Russian, (https://stenincontest.com) in English, and (https://cn.stenincontest.com) in Chinese.

The anniversary edition of the contest introduces a new category called "View From Above" alongside the existing four categories: "Top News", "Sports", "My Planet", and "Portrait. A Hero of Our Time." This addition encourages participants to explore a fresh visual perspective, emphasizing unconventional subjects and settings. The grand prize is 700,000 rubles ($7,588), with the first, second, and third places receiving 125,000 rubles, 100,000 rubles, and 75,000 rubles, respectively.

It is worth noting that the Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest, organized by Rossiya Segodnya under the patronage of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, serves as a platform for young photographers – talented and sensitive individuals open to all things new – to highlight surrounding people and events.
