Supporters of Palestine held a demonstration in Hollywood to protest the ongoing Gaza genocide, denouncing the prolonged attacks by Israeli occupation forces on the besieged Palestinian territory.
American protesters assembled outside the Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM) office in Beverly Hills, California, on Tuesday, chanting slogans such as "Free Palestine" and "Ceasefire Now".
Hollywood has been an active participant in Israeli propaganda since the very beginning. MGM had filmmakers on the ground in Palestine in May, 1948 during the Nakba making pro-Israel films for western audiences. Today we marched through Beverly Hills in protest. pic.twitter.com/XGDt6imDuk

US actors and artists who condemn the Israeli entity's actions in Gaza and express support for Palestinians are facing repercussions. The protests in Beverly Hills coincided with these developments, and Muslim American leaders have expressed their intent to mobilize communities against President Joe Biden's 2024 re-election bid due to his unwavering support for the Israeli actions in Gaza.
A gathering in Michigan emphasized that Biden's stance on the war on aggression might impact his support in key swing states in the upcoming election.

Susan Sarandon dropped by talent agency for being pro-Palestine
Talent agency UTA dropped Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon, on November 22, following her comments at a pro-Palestine rally in New York this week.
"There are a lot of people that are afraid, that are afraid of being Jewish at this time, and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country, so often subjected to violence," she said as she encouraged holding conversations with Jewish Americans, who don’t feel "safe" at this time.
Sarandon, known for sharing pro-Palestine posts on X and sharing posts by Pink Floyd bassist Roger Waters, has come under fire for her stance.
Because of Waters' pro-Palestine outspoken stance, he was denied hotel reservations last week during his tour in Uruguay and Argentina.
"They don't understand the history of what has been happening to the #Palestinian people for 75 years."

Out of Hollywood for criticizing genocide
Actress Melissa Barrera has been dropped from starring in Scream VII after sharing pro-Palestine social media posts.
"Gaza is currently being treated like a concentration camp," she wrote in her Instagram story.
She added, "Cornering everyone together, with no where to go, no electricity no water … People have learnt nothing from our histories. And just like our histories, people are still silently watching it all happen. THIS IS GENOCIDE & ETHNIC CLEANSING."
A spokesperson for Spyglass, the entertainment company behind the Scream film franchise, released a statement in response.
"Spyglass’ stance is unequivocally clear: We have zero tolerance for antisemitism or the incitement of hate in any form, including false references to genocide, ethnic cleansing, Holocaust distortion or anything that flagrantly crosses the line into hate speech."
