Italian artist creates largest Picasso portrait using tractor
Gambarin is known to make large portraits of high-profile names using a tractor in Italy, such as one of former US presidents John F Kennedy and Donald Trump.
A portrait of artist Pablo Picasso was found made on wasteland in Castagnaro, Verona by an Italian land artist using a tractor.
The artist, Dario Gambarin, stated that he got his inspiration from Picasso’s self-portrait in 1907 to create what he believes is the largest portrait of Picasso, who died in France on April 8, 1973, in the world.
Gambarin is known to make large portraits of high-profile names using a tractor in Italy, such as one of former US president John F Kennedy in November 2013, and an image of Pope Francis that same year
The artist also made a portrait of Donald Trump using his tractor and wrote “Ciao” beneath Trump’s left shoulder.
Other famous figures he has done portraits of include former South African president Nelson Mandela, Renaissance painter Leonardo da Vinci, former US president Barack Obama and DPRK leader Kim Jong-Un.
