Iran's oil exports increase by 40%: Iranian Minister
Iran's Oil Minister says the increase in oil prices has increased the country's income.
Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji touched Saturday on President Ebrahim Raisi's statement that the country's oil exports recorded a 40% growth since August 2021.
On Twitter, Owji highlighted that Raisi correctly pointed out that oil exports have increased by 40% during his term.
"There is no doubt that the increase in oil prices has also affected the increase in the country's income," Owji expressed.
In addition to selling more oil at higher prices, the Islamic Republic is now capable of recouping the revenues, he added.
It is noteworthy that amid illegal US sanctions on Iranians, the Iranian Minister and other officials refrain from revealing oil exports and foreign currency received by the government.
