Zakharova: Israelis fighting alongside Azov extremists in Ukraine
The Israeli involvement in fighting alongside the notorious neo-Nazi extremist Azov Batallion is once again exposed.
After Moscow on Tuesday accused the Israeli occupation of supporting "the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova confirmed today that "Israeli" mercenaries are fighting alongside extremist nationalists in Ukraine.
Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid on Monday criticized Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, claiming that the latter made an "unforgivable and outrageous statement as well as a terrible historical error" and summoned Moscow's Ambassador for a "tough talk".

During an interview with Sputnik, Zakharova added that there are Israeli mercenaries fighting alongside the extremist nationalist battalions within the Azov Battalion in Ukraine.
According to Zakharova, “There are Israeli mercenaries fighting by the side of the fighters of the Azov terrorist organization.”

She added that Israeli politicians will not like what she has to say, but will resolve the matter shortly, adding, “There are Israeli mercenaries fighting by the side of the fighters of the Azov terrorist organization.”
Leaked documents published by the Russian Rebar newspaper revealed a list of mercenaries fighting in Ukraine as part of the so-called "International Legion," which included 45 nationalities, most notably from the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and "Israel", as well as other European countries.
