Some people suffer from sleep deprivation, but they don’t want to take sleeping pills, so what can they do? Natural alternative drinks are the solution.

Sleeping pills are not always the best solution

Natural drinks are becoming good alternatives to sleeping pills for people who don’t want to use pharmaceutical agents over and over again.

Cherry juice is considered one of the best drinks used to fall asleep, as it is high in tryptophan; an amino acid that is essential to produce the melatonin hormone responsible for one's sleep and its good quality. Having two cups of this drink per day is enough to facilitate falling asleep and reduce sudden wake-ups at night.

Chamomile tea is as effective as the cherry drink, as 4 spoons of chamomile added to a cup of boiled water once a day over two weeks can reduce symptoms of severe insomnia, improve the skin condition, and help in healing cold, according to the Federal News Agency.

Moreover, experts recommend using the Indian "Ginseng” herb, which has a soothing effect that helps in relaxing and resting.

Furthermore, bedtime is of great importance, so it is highly recommended to go to bed between 20:30 and 23:00, during which the body naturally produces the highest levels of melatonin.
