UK COVID-19 travel rules to end on Friday
The UK's transport secretary confirms that all remaining Covid-related travel measures will be scrapped.
According to current travel measures in the UK, all travelers must complete a passenger locator form before arrival. Travelers who are not fully vaccinated need to take a Covid test before departing their country of departure, fill the form, and take a PCR test after arriving.
The UK's Transport Secretary, Grant Shapps, tweeted that these rules will come to an end come 04:00 Friday morning.

All remaining Covid travel measures, including the Passenger Locator Form and tests for all arrivals, will be stood down for travel to the UK from 4am on 18 March.
These changes are possible due to our vaccine rollout and mean greater freedom in time for Easter.
Passengers who are not fully vaccinated will not need to take Covid tests before and after traveling to the UK, and will no longer need to fill out the form.
People traveling overseas will still need to comply with other countries' Covid-related measures.
As for the future, and the eventuality of a new Covid strain appearing, the government said it would use the "least-stringest measures" to restrict travel if that happens.
