15-year-old Kills 3 in Michigan School Shooting
A sophomore student, with a semi-automatic, kills 3 and injures 6 in a Michigan school shooting.
Around 12:51 PM, the Oakland County Sheriffs office received reports of a fatal school shooting at Oxford High School in Oxford Township, which resulted in the killing of 3 students and the injury of six other people, including a teacher.
The high school, situated in a rural area in north Detroit, suffered the horrific actions of a 15-year-old student who was taken into custody immediately after shooting students.
According to Oakland Counter Undersheriff, Mike McCabe, the sophomore student shot bullets, counting between 15 to 20 shots during the attack. "He didn't give us any resistance when he was taken into custody," McCabe said. "The whole thing lasted 5 minutes."
The name of the shooter has not been disclosed; however, a semi-automatic pistol was obtained. The suspect invoked his right to remain silent and refused to speak of the incident to the authorities, according to McCabe.
