Helicopter with 16 People On Board Crashes in Russia, Survivors Found
The Russian Emergencies Ministry acknowledges the crash of a tourist helicopter on the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia's far east.
According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry, a helicopter transporting tourists crashed on the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia's far east on Wednesday. It confirmed that the helicopter was a Mi-8, with 13 tourists on board, along with 3 crew members.

The Russian Emergencies Ministry added that a Mi-8 helicopter is getting equipped with rescuers to fly to the crash location.
It is noteworthy that workers at the Kronotsky Nature Reserve, where the crash happened, immediately proceeded by boat to rescue the helicopter passengers. News agencies reported nine had been found alive and seven were missing.
