Shots were fired in a road rage incident on Monday at actress Denise Richards pick up truck. The actress was on her way to a film set and TV studio with her husband, Aaron Phypers.

Jill Fritzo, Richards' representative, confirmed that when the truck slowed down to look for a place to park, a passing motorist opened fire but no one was injured.

According to TMZ, police were contacted after someone at the studio noticed gunshots on the actress' Ford Shelby F-150 truck but the Los Angeles Police Department stated there was no record of a report and thus no investigation was currently undergoing.

"We don't even know where it happened at this point," Officer Melissa Podany said.

That was also confirmed by a spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol, which handles 911 calls from freeways, saying that he could find no record either.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department looking over public transportation rail, nearby jurisdictions and bus lines, relayed the same story.

TMZ posted a photo of the damage.
